IS THE DU GREAT COLLECTIVE AFFILIATED WITH DRAKE UNIVERSITY?
While we are not affiliated with Drake University, the DU Great Collective is an Official Partner of Drake Athletics.
WHAT IS NIL?
“NIL” refers to an individual’s name, image, and likeness—their personal brand. In 2021, the NCAA started allowing collegiate student-athletes to earn compensation from it.
WHY IS IT BENEFICIAL FOR STUDENT-ATHLETES TO WORK WITH THE DU GREAT COLLECTIVE?
DU Great makes the NIL compensation process safe, simple and financially rewarding for Drake Basketball athletes, shielding them from complex contract negotiations and potentially exploitative deals.
IS THE DU GREAT COLLECTIVE A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION?
Yes, the DU Great Collective is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
